This compact and rapid reactor features 10 individually tempered and stirred reactor cells, operating within a temperature range of -20°C to +150°C. It is designed for applications such as parallel synthesis, flow chemistry, reaction and process optimization, and conducting Design of Experiment (DoE) studies. The system provides a space-saving solution for fume hoods, enhancing laboratory throughput by saving time while offering flexibility and innovation.
Versatile Applications
The reactor’s versatility allows it to be used in multiple setups: within a fume hood, mounted on a robotic platform, linked with other units for large-scale sampling, or operated independently on a lab bench. An optional external temperature sensor can be added to each cell to monitor and record sample temperatures with precision, making it suitable for a wide range of experimental needs.
Durable Design
Housed in a PTFE-coated casing, the reactor is built to withstand harsh chemical environments. Cable connections and wiring are protected by a PFA hose for added durability. The screen’s adjustable tilt ensures optimal visibility, even in challenging lighting conditions, enhancing usability in various lab settings.
Intuitive Operation
Upon activation, the reactor enters LAB mode, displaying the status of all 10 cells and providing immediate control over heating, cooling, stirring, or temperature ramping for each cell independently. This setup supports precise experiments with easy access to essential functions, ideal for tasks like solubility determination, catalyst-supported reactions, DoE, crystallization experiments, and PCR reactions. The intuitive software in LAB mode allows quick setup of temperature, stirring speed, and time or ramp settings, streamlining workflows with minimal effort.
Customization and Accessories
Various configurations and accessories are available to meet diverse laboratory requirements. The touch monitor can be flexibly positioned, featuring a cross socket on the back for easy mounting on a stand rod in the fume hood. An optional extension cable enables the control terminal to be placed outside the hood for added convenience. Additionally, a dosing station enhances liquid handling with two independent units, offering flow rates from 20µl/min to 4000µl/min and excellent chemical resistance to numerous solvents.
