Measurement Principle
• Based on the mass balance equation, static gas equilibrium, and pressure measurement.
• The system performs vacuum stripping to remove contaminants before testing.
• A known quantity of adsorbate gas is introduced into the sample tube.
• As the gas adsorbs onto the sample surface, a pressure drop occurs.
• This pressure change is used to calculate the adsorption equilibrium and determine the molar mass of the adsorbed gas.
 Key Capabilities
• Measures:
• Specific surface area (BET method)
• Pore volume and distribution (BJH or DFT methods)
• Fully automated operation with high precision and repeatability.
• Ideal for materials such as powders, catalysts, ceramics, and porous solids.
